Hi, I'm Gervel,

My journey to becoming a portrait photographer started about fifteen years ago. My brother was a wedding photographer, and I would assist him on occasion. In 2000, my brother succumbed to cancer, and I decided I wanted to continue his legacy.

I went to photography school, thrilled to start my new chapter as a digital artist. Two years in, and life happened; my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke. My commitment to my craft deepened as I took care of him, turning my photography into a full-time passion.

My husband transitioned on November 8th, 2021. After thirty-plus years of marriage, it was an adjustment to suddenly being alone. During my grieving process, I traveled to Italy to attend a workshop on women portraiture. That trip changed me and let me know that I would be okay on this new chapter I was entering.

Today, I specialize in women portraiture and underwater photography, I shoot full time and I love creating incredible experiences for my clients.
