Lady in Waiting

Times have changed since I had my children 20 years ago. Maternity sessions are full of glam and fantasy, resulting in beautiful portraits that reveal the inner and outer beauty of the  “mom to be”.

I love doing maternity sessions, each one is different, everything from underwater sessions with a “dad to be” to traditional sessions in the studio.

When Anastasia told me she wanted to do a milk bath I was beyond excited. I love trying new things and a milk bath was on my list.dsc_1696-edit-editCleopatra knew what she was doing back in 49 B.C..  Milk baths are the perfect solution to dry flaky skin, lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid present in milk softens and moisturizes skin. A simple recipe to try at home is 2 to 3 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of honey and 1/4 cup of almond oil  added to a warm bath take a dip and relax.
